This headline sent us into shock and I know it had to send all of you in shock just reading it. When we received the news that Betsey Johnson, would be closing several of her Boutiques/sites plus some. Betsey, really has been such a major staple in the industry with her eclectic styling, the pinks, bold hippy type styles with Boostiay typed tops. Betsey, is full of whimsical, kind of dream like fun as if she had a slight Peter Pan syndrome:
It seems that Betsey is a victim of the economy, as many other Designers and Fashion Houses. We know that she is going to still have a select few stores in a few Major cities that will stay open and her collaboration with Steve Madden will continue and Betsey Johnson will remain the Creative Director of the company (When I heard this little notation, I started thinking is Betsey selling the company?):
The liquidation is taking place now, so hey Fashionistas you still can get some Fabulous pieces. Make sure you visit the website because, Betsey is also giving a few discounts, plus more information regarding; which locations will be closing and which will be staying open-she plans of posting messages later on in the month to let you know where you will still be able to find your Fabulous Betsey Johnson styles:

Yes, you heard me right, the infamous Bold Souls Fashion Pop-Up’s are returning this summer with their second Prohibition Glamour event on Thursday, June 7th 2012 at 7pm in CitizenM hotel, Glasgow.
Bold Souls held the very first Prohibition Glamour event last February and although the evening was undoubtedly amazing, they wanted to give Glasgow another but this time make it bigger, better and even more ambitious and glamorous than before!
For those of you who have never come across the event before, let me fill you in on some background info: Prohibition Glamour is a unique rendez-vous of independent fashion designers, exciting networking and a dazzling fashion show which showcases the best that each designer involved has to offer. It is an exclusive and highly tasteful evening of never-before seen fashion and personalised shopping, where guests can watch the show, try on and then buy items from over 20 stalls of cherry-picked designers in an informal and fashionable atmosphere. You can even chat to the designers and have the garments customised if you ask nicely enough! If that isn’t enough to entice you along to the event, there will be complementary _Kopparberg_ on arrival plus hair styling by_ Rainbow Room International. _You really couldn’t ask for a better evening if you ask me.
Prohibition Glamour partners include: _Les__ Garçons __de Glasgow, Rainbow Room International, Kopparberg_ and _Colours Agency_. These notable industry names, plus the success from the last event means that time is of the essence if you want to make an appearance on the night, as there are only 100 tickets available and boy, will those sell out like hot cakes! You can buy them online at www.boldsouls.bigcartel.com for a price of £10. For everything including in the evening, they’re practically giving them away at that price! Doors open at 6pm in SocietyM (ground floor of CitizenM hotel), show starts at 7pm and will run until 9pm.
If you want to find out any extra information on the events sponsors, designers showing on the night, or anything to do with the event itself, then you can check out the list of links available just below. I, myself will be attending the event and helping out a little behind the scenes, so you can guarantee a post after the event on Thursday/Friday. That’s no reason to miss out on the night though (unless you live outside the UK: you have an excuse), so if you’re in Glasgow on Thursday evening, you better make sure you’ve got yourself a ticket and come. It’s going to be a brilliant night filled with fun, fashion and of course, cider. How could any Glaswegian say no to that?!
